Since its implementation, Google Plus has been a valuable social networking tool for internet marketers with its growing user base and wide variety of tools for sharing media. Despite this, the users who are on Google Plus have not been using it enough for it to realize its full potential. While some users spend over 7 hours per month on Facebook, ComScore indicates that the same users may not spend 5 minutes on Google Plus in the same time period.
A More User Friendly Design
The potential is unlimited with marketing, but the general public has yet to move to Google Plus, and that means that any social media marketing done on the platform will go unseen by a significant portion of the world. To counter this, Google has redesigned the interface to make it more user-friendly in hopes that the users who have tried Google Plus and neglected it will come back, and those who have yet to discover it will join and stay.
You Can Customize Your Interface
The biggest change to the interface has been a new interface bar on the left side, where users can place icons to easily access their favorite G+ features. Users can change the bar and customize it to fit their own needs, including reordering them, adding new icons and hiding others. In part, these changes will also help make Google Plus more conducive to future growth and development, since the space will hold new features in the future and allow users to choose which ones are most useful to them personally.

This feature already offers more functionality and flexibility to users than Facebook and other competitors, which can help retain the user base by making it more convenient for them to stay and interact. Other features include easier access to content sharing and growth. Users can see who has reposted their content and who has clicked Plus One on their links and photos. Additionally, users can browse for video chats with groups around topics of interest by using the Hangouts option on the new navigation bar. An Explore icon will allow users to see what content is historically popular and what content is growing quickly.
Sharing Just Got Easier
All of these features have valuable implications for those who use Google Plus for marketing reasons. The content sharing will make it easier for marketers to get their information into the open, while the anticipated growth stemming from the update will open up the platform to an audience of millions. Users who can quickly share and discuss content will pass the message on to their entire social circle, and marketers can easily build a social circle or fan base of their own where they post content and watch the reposts and Plus One statistics skyrocket.
Regardless of the platform, social marketing takes a lot of work to get an audience involved and keep them invested. Marketers need a social networking platform that allows them to reach everyone. The most recent set of changes to Google Plus will help make it a friendlier place to marketers and the general public alike.

I really like this new feature. Step by step Google+ is being located as a reference for marketers.
Thanks for reading Abel. I like the new features and it’s instantly brought more people to my own circles which is good too.
the only use of Google+ seems to be to talk to google employees
I see more people on the platform, although it’s skewed towards the techie crowd, but that may change we’ll see.
